Brilliant experience from quote through to installation. We found the team to be honest and transparent in their assessment of our solar production capacity (and limitations), and their professionalism and communication throughout the whole process was excellent. Expert Energy Tasmania Pty Ltd have been fantastic! The sales team have been faultless throughout my dealings with them, but unbelievably, have been outshone by the installation crew!
They arrived at our property , not far from Launceston airport, and were working before 0800. 32 panels fitted on two separate buildings, with batteries and inverters, associated cables, 2 power panels modifications, system testing and commissioning and a spotlessly clean site later, the teams were on their way back to Hobart at around 1500!!

Excellent service from initial consultation to commissioning of the system. Had a full solar/ battery system installed. Of the three companies I contacted, these guys responded within 12hrs, the others took 7 and 10 days. Expert Electrical were the only ones to do a site visit and discuss what I wanted and what they thought would be best to achieve that. Communication was excellent with them keeping me informed every step of the way. The techs were great and very considerate of us while they worked on the install. They cleaned up after themselves reasonably well (afterall they are electricians and have never seen a broom 😂). I can highly recommend these guys for all things solar.

I recently chose Expert Energy Tasmania to install a solar and battery system at my home in Alonnah, Bruny Island, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.

Max took the time to understand my requirements, wasn’t pushy, and offered a very competitive price on both the solar system and a Tesla Powerwall 3. Other providers clearly added a hefty “Bruny tax”, but Expert Energy Tasmania priced the job fairly and transparently.

On installation day, the technicians arrived on time, confirmed all placement details with me, and got straight to work. As a retired electrician with extensive experience in installation and project management, I pay close attention to workmanship — and this crew impressed me. They worked efficiently as a team, knew exactly what they were doing, and maintained a high standard throughout. Cable runs, conduits, terminations, and overall presentation were all completed to an exceptional standard, followed by a thorough clean‑up.

The handover was clear and professional, and the system has been performing flawlessly since installation.

I highly recommend Expert Energy Tasmania for solar, battery, and electrical work. Their professionalism, workmanship, and customer service are first‑class.
